First steps of a beginning writer/artist/FitCoach. Follow me on my journey…..
My journey began teaching fourth grade and kindergarten for thirty-five years in upstate NY. I have always had a passion for writing and taught the craft to my students using children’s literature.
Currently I live on Cape Cod and now it is my turn to write and pursue my art. To date, I have written seven picture books still in the submission phase and have illustrated for other authors. My illustration work includes picture books The Trouble With Ralph, Alistar and Octavia, as well as a memoir cover for Through The Widows Window, all available on Amazon.
Recently I have taken up drawing and painting and spend time taking online art classes to improve my craft.
I am also a Master FitCoach and the manager of Koko Fit Club Centerville. In addition to art and writing, my second career is in fitness. I discovered I have a passion for helping people change their lives by becoming healthy and fit. The teacher in me loves spending my days helping people achieve their fitness goals.
I have two married adult daughters and a precious grandson. I live with my husband, marsh-side on East Sandwich Beach. Beach walks, mediation and my workouts at Koko FitClub keep me grounded and inspired.
